Burnley Football Club is one of the professional English football clubs with a long history. To tell about the long history – Burnley F.C. were founder members of The Football League in 1888. To tell even more, Burnley were not only the founding member’s but they also were the winners of the Football League in 1920-21 and 1959-60. Even more – Burnley F.C. are one of only three teams to have won all top four professional divisions of English football.

Though The Clarets have almost always been in the England’s top two divisions, but remained outside the top flight from 1976 to 2009. And only in 2009- for the first time in 33 years- they finally got their way into English Premier League.

Burnley F.C. is based in Burnley, Lancashire and it’s colors are claret and blue – hence the name of the club- Burnley – and the nickname – The Clarets.

Burnley home ground has been Turf Moor where the club has been based since 1883. Turf Moor is situated on Harry Potts Way in Burnley. The capacity of the Turf Moor stadium is 22,546. It is among the oldest football grounds in England still in use. The record attendance at Turf Moor came in 1924 when Burnley played Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup with 54,755 people attending.

Owen Coyle (born 14 July 1966 in Paisley) is an association football manager, former player. He is currently the manager of Burnley F.C. Coyle began his career at Dumbarton and played for a number of Scottish teams along with a spell at Bolton Wanderers. Upon retiring from playing he managed Falkirk and St. Johnstone before heading to Football League Championship side Burnley. In his first full season in charge, Burnley won promotion to the Premier League.

i think its great that i can watch burnley live and i think its great to be able to get all the games and information on my lap top thanks ive been a burnley fan all my life good luck this season hope we stay up
